The Australian Reptile Park is presenting a snake and spider safety seminar to provide people with the knowledge and confidence to deal with a potentially dangerous situation should it arise.
The seminar will cover such things as specific snake habitats and behaviour, camouflage techniques, how snakes hunt and react to disturbance and defensive responses, breeding and other peak activity periods and whatr to do if confronted by an angry snake/spider resulting in a bite.
