Staff of the Australian Reptile Park have placed flowers on the grave of Eric, Australia's most loved crocodile, who passed away one year ago. In a area called Eric's Mint Bush Walk, a special tribute has been created so he is never forgotten. Eric's grave is backed by a specially designed mural depicting his life at the Park and he is covered by local sandstone in the shape of a crocodile.

General Manager, Mary Rayner, said it was a sad day when the Park lost Eric and he is very much missed.

Eric's replacement Elvis, took up residence in the crocodile enclosure almost 12 months ago and continues Eric's legacy of wowing crowds during the crocodile show on weekends and holidays.
