The Australian Reptile Park at Somersby has made it into the list of the 100 things you can only do in Australia, featured in the April/May 2008 issue of the Australian Traveller magazine.

The Reptile Park is the only facility in the world that milks the deadly funnel web spider and according to Australian Traveller this series of 100 things focuses “on the very things that make Australia truly unique” and “nowhere else in the world can you have these experiences.”

The Park’s General Manager, Mary Rayner said “it is an honour to be recognised in a magazine as prestigious as Australian Traveller and confirms that the Reptile Park is a wow-factor experience that is hard to forget”. Ms Rayner went on to say “visitors can see the funnel web milking every day at the Park, along with all the other exciting displays and demonstrations.”

Greg Barton is the editor of Australian Traveller and says “we’re independent and objective, which means we can tell it like it is, giving our readers the Real Deal approach to holidays within their own country. The magazine aspires to be the most authoritative, accessible, informative and entertaining source for any Australian traveller.”
